A restrained study in everyday residential limestone construction.
Number 9 House demonstrates the integration of natural limestone within a contemporary suburban residential context. The facade is constructed using smooth Plainface Mount Gambier limestone blocks laid in a classic stretcher bond, establishing a consistent and grounded architectural rhythm.

The use of limestone introduces material warmth and tonal variation, balancing the crisp geometry of the dark glazing and roofline. This contrast reinforces the clarity of the architectural form while softening its overall street presence.

Subtle limestone mouldings are incorporated at key junctions, framing the entry and window openings. These details introduce depth and articulation to the facade, reinforcing the material continuity of the design.
