Brighton Residence

A masterclass in bespoke detailing and artisanal masonry.
Designed by Jon Friedrich Architects and built by LBA Constructions, the Brighton Residence is a highly detailed classical home defined by craftsmanship, proportion and material authenticity.
Bruhn supplied premium Mount Gambier limestone for the residence’s rusticated facade, carved balustrades, mouldings and architectural features. Crafted by Wilmoore Allstone, the project showcases an exceptional level of stonemasonry, including 101 hand-carved matching balustrades, sweeping curved mouldings and a bespoke outdoor fountain shaped entirely on-site.

Deep traditional rustication across the ground floor establishes a strong sense of permanence and architectural depth, while the natural texture and tonal variation of the South Australian limestone softens the scale of the residence.
The limestone detailing continues throughout the rear alfresco spaces, where mechanically suspended stone ceilings create a seamless connection between interior and exterior architecture.

The Brighton Residence demonstrates the versatility of authentic natural stone; combining traditional craftsmanship, structural performance and enduring architectural character in a home designed to last for generations.
