Custom limestone, shaped through craftsmanship.
Designed by Ron Lewis, Springvale Estate is a refined limestone residence where craftsmanship and material detail define the entire home. Built using solid Mount Gambier limestone, the project balances traditional masonry techniques with a clean and timeless architectural form.
Custom limestone mouldings were produced and hand-carved on site by Wilmoore Allstone, allowing the detailing to feel deeply integrated into the architecture rather than applied as decoration. Dormer windows, entry features and architectural elements were all constructed in solid stone, giving the home a level of authenticity, depth and permanence that lightweight alternatives simply cannot achieve.
The limestone palette continues internally through feature walls, a sculptural fireplace and a dramatic two-storey water feature, creating strong visual continuity throughout the residence. Combined with natural light and restrained finishes, the stone introduces warmth, texture and a sense of calm to the interior spaces.
