Chastleton Residence

A natural limestone Toorak classic, built to last.
Chastleton Residence shows the timeless appeal of natural limestone in contemporary classical architecture. Set in Toorak, this refined family residence combines strong proportions, detailed craftsmanship and enduring materials to create a home with real presence and permanence.
Designed by Christopher Doyle Architects and built by Royale Constructions, the project features Bruhn Mount Gambier Limestone in double-skin plainface blockwork with hand-routed rustication detailing. The limestone facade brings warmth, texture and depth to the home, while reinforcing the clean symmetry and elegance of the architectural design.

More than just aesthetic, limestone also delivers practical long-term benefits including durability, thermal performance and low maintenance. Its natural tones and solid construction create a home that feels calm, substantial and built to stand the test of time.

This project highlights how Mount Gambier limestone can elevate a home through both beauty and performance, delivering a timeless material finish that feels equally luxurious and enduring.
